BETFAIR

Betfair is focused on offering the most exciting betting product for all market areas, driven by a brand that looks to power the thrill of live sport. The challenge was redesigning their sportsbook mobile app to make the content more inspiring and create a deeper level of engagement. Helping to give better context to sports betting on subjects they might be experts in.

The first step was to look at the recent UX experience and then create ways in which we could surface more engaging content and components. This included bringing in content from other sources such as newspapers, blogs, and experts so that the tips come to you, let us do the hard work for you.

Solution
The design solution was based on the data that the more knowledge the user had around betting, the more they would engage in the product and the more likely they were to return to learn more.

This was all put together in a design that promoted straightforward, clear, and informative typography alongside infographics and critical visuals, which create break points as the user scrolls the feed. All while enabling the customers to place bets quickly and at the best prices.
